Hope Show can provided an excellent up close and personal experience with some beautiful cattle, the cattle tent is open to the general public so feel free to pop in and have a chat to the owners who will only be to happy to answer any questions you may have.
Hope Show has classes for British Blue, Commercial Beef, Highland, Limousins, Longhorns, Blonde and any other Pure Beef breed.
Look out for these fine looking animals when judging starts at 10:00am.
The Sheep section is an ever growing excellent example of the finest sheep around with 13 different classes from the traditional local Derbyshire Gritstone to the Pure Rare Breeds.
Please remember that if you are bringing your sheep to the Show that you can also enter a fleece into our Fleece class. Entrants can be taken on the day.
Cade lambs
The most difficult competition to judge by far!
The cade lamb class, not to be missed, the handler is judged on their presentation as well as their ability to show their animal.
There are two age categories 10 - 16 year olds and the Under 10s class.
These are both judged outside the Livestock Secretaries tent around 11:00am.
